This is the overview we are sharing, and that is for our leading business partner, one of the leading providers of logistics management systems. Our client was very clear with his idea and concept of launching its own application that provides logistics solutions and hassle-free deliveries of parcels globally.
Having a discussion with the client and understanding his ideology, we were successful in developing the best and centralised logistics application that could be easily accessible, meet the overall trade business, and serve a number of users with their needs and requirements within the distinct and updated defined structure.

Challenges Faced

As they say, the path to success is not that easy, and thus, after facing all the challenges and getting a fruitful result, it gives immense pleasure, and thus, with this said, below are some of the challenges that were faced by our company to design and develop centralised and automated global logistics applications.

  • To develop and implement trade solutions that are from a web-based service provider to multifold and multi-branch companies.
  • Developing a platform that provides easy solutions and paths to work on different levels and departments in the company.
  • System development with the use and adherence of required trade customs and regulations.
  • Developing a centralised system with setting the parameters of team members along with their different roles and responsibilities.
  • To create an application with the software that can help save the past record, which can be used for future operational work.
  • Creating and developing a system that is providing A-Z solutions to the clients. These details are:
    • Creating Shipment Labels
    • Updating the payment status to the clients
    • Mentioning the details of customs and other government rules and updates on clearance to the third party by sending notifications.
    • Maintaining the decorum of fetching the details and results from customs and helping the clients to check the reports and helping the managers and overall operational work.
  • Creating an automated accounting system so as to manage and validate all the required details related to the billing and payment cycle.
  • To deliver a receptacle tracking module that facilitates the business to achieve its purchases and incorporate changes from various carriers.
  • Effective dashboard and description structure policies enable users to design and produce the dashboard and arrive with a snap.
  • Centralised record administration system to maintain records associated with shipments.

Solution

Well, looking into so many challenges, the team at iQud Tekk was able to provide solutions that were as expected by our client and also with the use of required resources and expertise.
  • Inbound and outbound transportation management: The app was developed in such a way that the management can easily identify the number of parcels that were collected from the client and, after proper sorting and labelling, deliver the same to the respective parties along with an immediate update on the delivery details.
  • Warehouse management: This was the process in which we developed the application that gave the complete details to the client with regards to the number of shipments being brought to the warehouse and based on the sorting, getting it segregated with the respective labelling, and assigning the delivery details for the same as well.
  • Fleet management: The function allowed the company to minimise the risks that were associated with the delivery process, and this was indeed related to the investment made in delivering vehicles and other transportation costs. Our fleet management application helped the clients to keep track of all the deliveries and delivery by real-time as the feature was created to make work easier, simpler, and faster.
  • Processing orders: Once there was the list of consignments and shipments received at the warehouse, it was very much necessary to create the application that will give access to auto-sorting of the shipment orders and placing them set at the right place. This process was continued with the undertaking of inventory control, managing third-party delivery updates, and planning the overall chain of demand and supply.

Results

In the end, the outcome of the project was as per the expectations of the clients, and this was indeed one of the biggest successes in the entire project to date we have accomplished.
